During the Advent season we are not only lightening a candle on the traditional Advent wreath but also celebrate the Sundays before Christmas with advent concerts in the mountains.

Pure genius
Andreas Schreiber, composer and jazz violinist, is professor at the university of music and performing arts in Vienna and head of the jazz and improvisation department at the Anton Bruckner private university in Linz. He will perform with his students who themselves are well known musicians: Julia Noa Fischer has been nominated twice for the Hollywood Music in Media Award and sings the melancholic songs of Schumann with her unique voice. The tetrachord will be completed with Michael Brucker and Matthias Pichler, who won the Hans Koller award. Look forward to an unforgettable Christmas concert in Austria.

The magic drum
Billy Martin is drummer at the globally successful New York Avantgarde Jazz Funk Trio MMW (Medeski, Martin and Wood). He has worked with the biggest artist in the music business like John Scofield, John Zorn, John Luries Lounge Lizards, Iggy Pop, Min Xiao-Fen and many more. Apart from his performances he also works very successfully as an author, composer, film-maker, visual artist and has his own label (Amulet Records). In Bezau he will give one of his unique solo concerts and will perform rhythms on African, Brazilian and Asian percussions. Enjoy the advent concerts in the mountain.
Third Sunday of Advent on the 12th of December
CLEMENS HAGEN and STEFAN MENDL
Experience classical music
The cellist Clemens Hagen, member of the prestigious “Hagen quartet”, is one of the best known solo artist and a popular chamber musician. He is particularly famous for his technical virtuosity and incredible musical gift. He has been awarded with some of the most honourable prizes like the special award of the Vienna Philharmonic and the Karl-Böhm prize. At the hotel Post Clemens Hagen will be on stage together with the pianist Stefan Mendl, who founded the Viennese piano trio “Wiener Klaviertrio”. The two musicians will perform selected works by Beethoven, Brahms and Debussy at their Christmas concert in Austria.

The pianist and singer Hendrix Ackle is a top sideman several popular Swizz Pop- and Bluesbands (Philip Frankhauser). He is also famous for his singing and writing songs. Only a few people were able to enjoy Hendrix Ackle performing as a front man of a band – as he usually acts in the background. Those who love musical maturity, serenity and aesthetic will come to value Hendrix Ackle. The musician creates a sudden sensual atmosphere with his groovy piano. The lovely melodies will serve as a nice inspiration for many dreams. With a lot of Soul Hendrix Ackle creates a new generation of chansons.
The South African musician Brendan Adams will perform songs of his recent album “Better Days”, which was nominated for best album of the year by the Hessischer Rundfunk. Together with Hendrix Ackle he will lead you through a Christmas with a lot of Soul.
