The Hotel Post is surrounded by alpine challenges. Our mountain guide Pius is happy to advise you on the choice or climbing tours and, on request, will join you on your endeavours.
Austria’s most western county Vorarlberg is the perfect destination for your climbing holiday. If you’re not quite ready for the peaks then you can prepare yourself for a climbing tour or simply have fun in one of the top-class hire-wire parks in the area surrounding the Hotel Post.
In the impressive Aqua High-Wire Park in Bregenzerwald’s activity centre for example. Nestled in a gorge above the Bregenzer Ache river it offers and adventure course with 16 stations including abseiling from a 30m-high bridge, various hire-wire obstacles, climbing walls. climbing, fixed rope routes, cable cars and the climax – a “flying fox” jump from a rock face 15m above the river. Of course this is all carried out under the watchful eyes of the experts. For the less bold easier stations can of course be chosen.
Only 5 to 7 minutes’ drive away form the Hotel Post you will find the highest climbing tower in Austria. The 22,30m tower is in the Climbing Park Andelsbuch and offers climbing routes of the difficult levels, 4,5,6 and 7.
