Tobogganing or sledging is one of Vorarlberg’s most popular pass-times. On bobs, sledges, toboggans or anything that slides the idea is to reach the bottom of the slope having as much fun as possible. Tobogganing by the light of the moon is of course something really special, when the night sky is heavy and the spirits are high as you wiz down to the valley. The good news is that you don’t always have to pull the toboggan all the way up the mountain. On many of the toboggan runs there are lifts and taxis that will bring you and your toboggan back to the top.

Summer Tobogganing in Vorarlberg
You can also go tobogganing in Bregenzerwald in summer, on the longest summer toboggan run in the world! It is 1850 m long with 80 bends, starts at the top of the Hirschberg two-man chairlift and ends right down in the valley.
