Since the 30s, “The Surf Club Miami” has been committed to the motto “sea, sun and all things social”. Founded by Harvey Firestone and visited by Elizabeth Taylor, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Winston Churchill and other icons of this period, its unique atmosphere of pure joie de vivre has rendered it unforgettable.
The existing ensemble has been renovated in the last five years and expanded to “The Surf Club Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences”. Pritzker prize-winning star architect Richard Meier and interior designer Joseph Dirand have carried over the atmosphere of days gone by into the modern era perfectly. A 1400 m2 spa area has also been created, in which guests can now enjoy the Susanne Kaufmann spa concept with selected treatments and products for the first time in the USA.
Natural light, along with light materials in soft white and natural blue tones, transform the spa into an absolute oasis of calm and serenity. With a view overlooking the ocean – only interrupted by palm trees swaying in the wind – you can enjoy the signature treatments by Susanne Kaufmann™ in six treatment rooms and two spa cabanas.
Alongside the treatment rooms, the spa, designed by Joseph Dirand, also offers a tea lounge and an incomparable wellness area with a steam bath, sauna and relaxation rooms. In the spa boutique, along with selected Susanne Kaufmann™ skin care products, you will find a carefully curated assortment to recreate that special spa experience in your own home.
