To plan a family vacation means bringing a variety of interests into one itinerary: action for the children, relaxation for the parents, and meal choices and activities that are fun for all family members. We know the challenge of planning a family vacation. That is why we are opening the doors of the Hotel Post Bezau by Susanne Kaufmann to families with children under 12 during our family retreats. Our focus is then entirely on helping you and your family have a memorable and eventful family getaway!
Together. For us in the Bregenzerwald, family time entails, above all, being out in nature – whether on foot, comfortably on a bicycle, or on a sporty mountain bike. The fresh air and the vast open spaces of the surrounding alpine pastures, mountains, and meadows thrill young (and older) guests. Supplemented by joint excursions to Ingo Metzler’s cosmetics production facility or a visit to the Werkraumhaus, the whole family will get to know the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit of our region in a creative way.
Children and Teenagers. Movement is really important to us at the Hotel Post Bezau by Susanne Kaufmann. That’s why our sports coaches have also put together special packages with age-appropriate activities – from swimming, tennis, hiking, biking, to yoga. Movement also makes you hungry! Good – and above all healthy – food is particularly close to our hearts. In special food labs, our chef Thomas and his team bring children and teenagers into the world of cooking and enjoying natural creations – and why it makes sense to know where our food comes from. The vegetable plots of our hotel garden, as well as our local suppliers, are looking forward to every visit.
Parents. In the family retreats, we help you to strike a balance between action and relaxation. A tailor-made exercise program for parents, individually arranged treatments at the Susanne Kaufmann Spa, and culinary highlights round off the stay and allow all family members to take a break and relax.
We live in a very fast-moving time, so it is all the more important for us to become aware, slow down, and pause. Our family retreats make that dream a reality.
