TCM Detox Cuisine.

Breakfast: Mango muesli

Purée 1 banana and the juice of 1 orange, ½ diced mango. Fold in 1 tbsp of tigernut flakes, 2 tbsp of warm millet gruel, 1 tbsp of raisins. Stir in 1 tsp of linseed oil. 1 pot of detoxification tea.

Snack: Pineapple Turmeric Smoothie. Pineapple is an important source of vitamin C. Thanks to the enzyme bromelain, it has a digestive effect. Turmeric has anti-inflammatory & antioxidant properties. ½ pineapple, 2 oranges, 1 ginger (1-2cm), ½ teaspoon turmeric powder, 100 ml water or coconut water - press the oranges, peel the ginger and cut into pieces. Add all ingredients to the mix and blend until creamy.

Lunch: Pepper and bulgur pan

200 ml of vegetable broth, 100 g of bulgur wheat, 1 Spanish onion, 1 red and 1 green pepper, 1 red chili, 100 g of smoked tofu, 1 tbsp of olive oil, ½ tsp of soya sauce, piquant paprika powder, herb salt, 1 tbsp of soya cream, 1 tbsp of tomato paste. Bring the broth to the boil, scatter in the bulgur wheat, cover and cook for 15 minutes. Finely cut the onion, cut the pepper in bite-sized pieces and the chili into fine strips. Dice the tofu. Heat the oil and sweat the onions, then add the pepper, chili and tofu pieces and cook over a low heat for 10 minutes. Mix the vegetables and bulgur, season with soya sauce, paprika powder and salt. Mix the tomato paste and soya cream and drizzle over the dish. 1 pot of alkaline tea.

Snack: Steam a handful of radishes in a pan, ½ cucumber, grated, sprinkle with parsley. Radishes are low in calories, fight water retention and support the detoxifying processes of the liver.

Dinner: Cauliflower salad(alkaline)

Divide cauliflower into small florets and boil until cooked, cool and put aside. For the dressing: Pour 4 tbsp lemon juice, 4 tbsp olive oil, 3 tbsp water, 1 tbsp almond flour, 1 tsp mustard, turmeric, cumin and cilantro into a blender and mix until creamy. If necessary add water and add to the cooled cauliflower and mix well. Let it rest for 30 min.

6th Exercise: "Alternating Breathing" (Nadi Shodana)
Sit cross-legged / or on a chair upright and make your back, crest pull up, tailbone towards the ground. Put left arm on knee, thumb and index finger tip touch - the Gyan Mudra. Palm faces upwards. Lower right elbow down, shoulders relaxed. Close your eyes. Close the right nostril with the thumb of the right hand and breathe deeply through the left. Then close the left nostril with the ring finger, at the same time release the right one. Exhale deeply through the right nostril and immediately inhale again through the same. Close right again with thumb and exhale through the left nostril and inhale.

Duration: 1 minute - last exhalation via the left nostril.

TCM Detox Treatment & Feel Good Tip

BODY WRAPPING:  With Body Wrapping, the circumference of the arms, waist or thighs can be reduced visibly with little effort. How body wrapping works and how to use it without much effort at home, we will show you in today's home spa tip. Body wrapping is based on the principle of compression and helps our body to reduce water deposits, activate fat cells and remove slag. With the combined use of potent body care products, the effect can be increased even more.

You need:

  • 1-2 rolls of cling film, 2 bath towels, body care products - we use our Detox Oil Scrub, Anti Aging Body Serum and Anti Aging Body Cream Blanket & 1 pot of detoxification tea
  • Prepare a pleasant place to relax and make yourself a pot of detoxification tea or ginger water. During the wraps you should drink plenty to activate the kidneys, as they play an important role in the removal of water and slag during the effects of the body wrap.
  • Pamper your skin with the detox oil scrub. Begin with your feet moving forward to the legs towards the heart with gentle, circular movements. Likewise start from the hands over to the arms and shoulders. The peeling cleanses and removes dead skin cells. At the same time it stimulates the purification process and blood circulation with peeling particles from apricot kernels and poppy seeds. Wash it off during a relaxing shower.
  • Massage the intense Anti Aging Serum into those areas that need a bit more "attention". Then apply the Anti Aging Body Cream to all the areas that you want to wrap in the next step with cling film. Some cream residue on the skin can still be visible.
  • Wrap your legs first with foil. The best way to work with individual pieces of film in the length of about one meter. Do not wrap too tightly to prevent you from cutting off blood supply. As a small rule of thumb, the looser your connective tissue is, the looser the wrap should be. At the same time, the film should not slip. It is advisable to try out the desired strength of the wraps beforehand. You may need help from a second person in the arms.
  • After you have wrapped yourself up, you should rest and relax for at least half an hour. Lie down in the relaxing place you have prepared and cover yourself. Now you can go ahead and sweat! Remember to drink a lot during the next few hours to further boost the detox effect. Your fat cells are being pushed together by the body wrap. As a result, water and slag are removed from the cells, which are then transported to the kidneys and broken down.
  • Remove the wraps after one hour. We then recommend a shower to remove the sweat. Treat yourself to some extra complementary care with a short massage with the firming pomegranate oil.
  • For optimal, sustainable results, apply the wrap weekly for a period of 10 weeks. After just one or two wrapping applications you will see the first successes. Therefore: Happy Wrapping!
