Traditional Chinese Medicine at Hotel Post Bezau is a combination of medical and therapeutic practices, acupuncture and methods of healing that have been handed-down for centuries. The goal is to restore the body’s balance.
The medical management in the Susanne Kaufmann Spa is comprised of general physicians with special training and emphasis on Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Since the completion of his studies and training in 1981 Dr. Lohmann has practiced as a medical practitioner, as of 1989 practicing as a specialist in general medicine and naturopathy in a private practice in Germany. He completed his TCM training at SMS - Societas Medicinae Sinensis in Munich. As of 2002 he has been working in his personal private practice for Traditional Chinese Medicine in Bodnegg (Germany) – and as of 2009 also in Dornbirn (Austria). Since the beginning of 2012, Dr. Lohmann has supported the medical team at the Hotel Post Bezau.
Doctor Brigitte Klett has worked nearly 30 years at her own private general medical practice, and at the same time she has improved her knowledge in Chinese therapy methods both in China and Germany with Chinese and German professors. Since 2004, she has been working exclusively outside the Health Service as a doctor and teacher.
She teaches complementary Asian medicine at her institute at the Steinbeis University Berlin for doctors, physical therapists and massage therapy in all the areas of Chinese therapies (Qi Gong, acupuncture and acupressure, Chinese dietetics, Tuina - massage techniques and Chinese drug therapy). By 2011, she has taught VPT Physiotherapists and Massage School graduates in internal medicine.
