Time for silence
Socrates says: "The sun is in everyone. You just have to make it shine". But how do we achieve this? A Korean Zen master would say: "I don't know". Not knowing is a method. In the retreat with Ben, it is also a goal to engage with not-knowing. The mind should be emptied instead of constantly being filled with new thoughts. Yoga and Zen meditation are two methods for cultivating not-knowing.
Yoga with Ben is a mixture of Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga and Qi gong. Flexibility is worked on by stretching and stabilising the body, with calmness and lightness. During zazen, the conscious stillness of Zen meditation is realised and the focus is on a simple, traditional method for clearing the mind.
