We’ve always been striving to take our place among the very best. Now, for the second year running, we have scooped the prize for “Austria’s Best Wellness Retreat” at the World Spa Awards. For us, this stands as a recognition that we made the correct decisions along the way – the World Spa Awards are THE standard bearer and greatest honour in the spa and wellness industry.
Up there with the very best This year as every other we pitted ourselves against some extraordinarily high-quality competitors, judged by a jury made up of industry experts, media representatives, and the general public. We feel honoured to be considered among the world’s best wellness hotels. At the same time, it’s something of a challenge, because it’s important that the reasons for this recognition are now tangible to every single guest on a daily basis. Nevertheless, the wellbeing of our guests has been our paramount focus ever since Hotel Post was established, so this award is in some ways a logical progression.
What makes our concept so unique At our retreats there is an inextricable link between the elements of exercise, sleep, nutrition, and treatment at the Susanne Kaufmann Spa. This holistic approach is about body and mind in equal measure. Prevention, regeneration and TCM principles are important factors in our treatments. Here the symptoms themselves are not the main focus, but rather the person as a whole and complex individual. Time-honoured therapy methods merge seamlessly with the very latest insights. This is a unique approach. Indeed, there have been treatments on offer at Hotel Post Bezau since at least the 1960s when mud packs were offered at its small treatment area, something relatively unheard of back then.
Treatments and products as one All treatments at the Susanne Kaufmann Spa have been specially developed around the 90 or so products of the Susanne KaufmannTM line. These natural and highly effective products are further accentuated by the individual treatments here. We see developing products and the designing treatments as one and the same process, meaning our spa’s services are comprehensive and wide-ranging. With our Susanne Kaufmann Spa concept, we hope to play a trailblazing role well into the future. Indeed, the concept has been implemented worldwide and has gained numerous accolades. In this sense, this latest recognition from the World Spa Awards takes us one step closer to our goals.
